Dynamic Spectrum Music staff are dedicated to providing high quality music instruction on most wind (brass & woodwind) and keyboard (piano, organ & mallet percussion) instruments. Students are encouraged to undergo AMEB assessments as this provides clear framework for comprehensive technical development on their instrument. Additional pedagogy prepares students to be able to play in musical groups such as concert bands, brass bands and orchestras as well as smaller ensembles and be confident in solo performance.

Learning a musical instrument, playing music in a group and being part of a musical performance has been shown to have incredible benefits to human brains, particularly in brains that are still developing. Playing music can benefit academic performance in areas as diverse as language and mathematics and can also strengthen important social skills such as empathy.
